On February 20, the ceremonial opening of the year of working professions was held in the assembly hall of the Higher Construction-Economic College. The head of the college gave a congratulatory speech. Students and participants of the festival "City of Working Professions" held in Astana shared their impressions of the trip and showed a video. On that day, the following events were held in the college as part of the year of working professions: the annual international scientific-practical conference "The future of construction is in the hands of young people", the intra-college stage of the WorldSkills Kazakhstan championship on the "Confectionery" competency, a number of events of the general education cycle, and events within the framework of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan: "Where is the logic?" physics-mathematics game, "Traveling to London" video tour, Thanksgiving "My Homeland is in My Heart!"
