The main significance of this unique date is the preservation of historical memory, strengthening the connection between generations, the moral education of youth, and most importantly, it is an opportunity to say thank you to our native land for everything.
Gratitude Day is an opportunity to say words of gratitude to our people, who warmly welcomed a large number of representatives of different ethnic groups, whose move to Kazakhstan was sometimes associated with tragic historical events that changed the fate of millions of people. This is respect for our common history, for everyone living in our country. We thank our ancestors for being able to protect, preserve and leave us this vast land. We thank each other for their responsiveness, civic position, and creative work for the good of the Motherland.
It was on this day in 1995 that the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan was created, the purpose of which is to strengthen unity, solidarity, friendship and patriotism in the country. The Declaration of State Sovereignty of Kazakhstan opened the way to our sacred Independence. Therefore, this document has historical significance. Since last year, we have been celebrating Republic Day in a new way, which has received the status of a national holiday.
Republic Day is a bright holiday designed to elevate the spirit of the people, strengthen statehood, our unity and solidarity. This holiday is rightfully considered a symbol of freedom and power of our state. Since gaining independence, our people have brilliantly continued the great history of Kazakhstan with new achievements and successful transformations; over the years of independence we have achieved global recognition and progress. Dear veterans, students, teachers and staff of the college!
With all my heart I congratulate you on Defender of the Fatherland Day and the great holiday - Victory Day! These two holidays have a deeply symbolic overlap. On these holidays, we first address our warmest congratulations and words of gratitude to all those who bore the hardships of wartime on their shoulders. Your selfless service to the Fatherland is a vivid example of perseverance, courage, and heroism.
The bright holiday of Victory entered every home as an unfading symbol of the triumph of justice. Our hearts will never run out of gratitude and admiration for the feat of front-line veterans and home front workers. We are proud of you, dear veterans! Severe trials befell you, but they did not break your fortitude and will to a happy life. You are the generation of winners, and in our hearts for many centuries the bright memory of the feat accomplished in the name of freedom and well-being of future generations will live. Kazakhstani soldiers took part in all battles; every fifth one went to the front. In total, 1 million 200 thousand Kazakhstanis were drafted. At the first stage of the war in Kazakhstan, 14 rifle and cavalry divisions and 6 brigades were formed. The units and formations that were formed were multinational in composition. During the war, about 500 Kazakhstanis were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. 142 Kazakhstanis became holders of the Order of Glory. Two girls - A. Moldagulova and M. Mametova - became Heroes of this Great War posthumously. Kazakh soldiers stormed Berlin, on April 30, 1945, Lieutenant Rakhimzhan Koshkarbaev, together with private Grigory Bulatov, hoisted the Soviet flag on the facade of the German parliament building - the Reichstag.
With deep respect, we bow our heads to those who, without sparing their lives, defended the Fatherland at the front and in the rear, who defended our independence and freedom.
We wish our dear veterans health, happiness, attention, love from loved ones!

The Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan symbolizes the spiritual unity of our people, diversity of cultures and mutual enrichment.

September 1 always symbolizes the beginning of a new stage in the fruitful work of teachers, students' comprehension of the laws of science and social life, the amazing world of knowledge and discoveries.
Knowledge Day is important for a person and his intellectual potential. The first President of our country, Nursultan Nazarbayev, designated education as the main wealth of the country, a key priority. We celebrate the new academic year with anniversaries: the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the 30th anniversary of the closure of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site, 30 years of the first Presidential elections, 30 years of the flight into space of the first Kazakhstani.

On June 4, 1992, new state symbols of Independent Kazakhstan were approved. In the year of celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the 30th anniversary of the first presidential elections, the 30th anniversary of the closure of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site, the 30th anniversary of the first Kazakh flight into space, the significance of this holiday is very great.
The state symbols of the country personify the strengthening of the country's sovereignty, reflect values, and demonstrate plans for the future. We are all rightfully proud of this holiday, which symbolizes the political stability of the country.
Over the years of Independence, Kazakhstan has achieved great success in the international political arena, in the development of the economy and society. Our state has become an example of interethnic and interfaith harmony. The labor, knowledge, and experience of all its citizens are important for sustainable development. Our task is to strengthen and increase all the achievements for which the Republic of Kazakhstan is famous today.
