On November 18, WorldSkills Kazakhstan 2024 IX Republican Championship ended. 550 college students took part in it. This event is important for the entire VET system, as it helps to determine the level of competence of each participant. The championship shows the compliance of training of workers to international standards. At the closing ceremony, the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan G. Beysembayev noted: "Nowadays, the worker is required to be able to work with automated and robotic systems." In order to promote the idea of hard work and professionalism in the society, the President declared 2025 as the Year of Professional Professions. According to the results of the championship, in a fierce competition, our college student Sergey Golets won the third place in "Culinary Business", expert Bibigul Amanbayevna Telemesova. Medallion for excellence in "Plumbing and heating" competence Karmanov Ignat, student of group 381, expert Vitaly Fedorovich Tsybulya.
