On November 20, 2024, at the Higher Construction and Economic College, the teachers of the accounting department held an event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan called "National tenge - a symbol of our independence".

The purpose of the event:

- To acquaint the participants with the activities of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan and its contribution to the peaceful life and development of the society.

- Increase understanding of the importance of inter-ethnic harmony and respect for cultural diversity.

- Promote the development of tolerant communication skills.

About 19 million people, representatives of more than 130 nationalities and ethnicities live in one family in Kazakhstan. We, people of all nations, have one of the most important concepts in common: We are the people of Kazakhstan! At the same time, Kazakhstan is a unique country with a variety of cultures and religions.

Pupils, students, teachers of the city schools, as well as invited guests, the chairman of the public association Copernicus "Polish cultural center of the North Kazakhstan region", the chairman of the journalists' club of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of the North Kazakhstan region, Korneva Valentina Yulyusyevna took part in this event.

The event allowed college students and guests to expand their knowledge about the activities of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan, to strengthen their feelings of patriotism, unity and tolerance.
