Today at the Kazakh Music and Drama Theater named after. S. Mukanov, a solemn event dedicated to Teacher’s Day was held with the participation of the akim of the North Kazakhstan region Nurmakhambetov G.T.
Our leader, Kushumbaev Agibay Bagytkireevich, by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev dated August 9, 2024 No. 619, was awarded the medal “Eren Enbegi Ushin” (for labor excellence) for his great contribution to the development of the country’s construction industry, high-quality training of qualified workers and specialists middle managers with professional competencies in demand in the labor market.

Higher College of Construction and Economics is an educational institution with a rich history. For more than 90 years, the college has been providing high-quality training for specialists for the labor market of the region and the country. Every year our college is developing dynamically. We create conditions for comfortable learning and update the material and technical base. In 2020, the College became a participant in the “Zhas Maman” Project, the goal of which is to modernize colleges and universities in the 100 most in-demand professions and introduce international experience in training qualified specialists. Thanks to participation in the Project, the material and technical base was updated, new equipment and modern training complexes were purchased.
During extracurricular hours, 23 sports sections and electives in technical creativity are organized for students. Every year, students actively participate in the Professional Skills Championship in cooking and construction skills and take worthy places. The college has a student choir, an office “Center for Peace and Harmony of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan North Kazakhstan region”, and a volunteer club. Volunteers from the Higher College of Construction and Economics were active during the flood of 2024. Students assisted in unloading humanitarian aid and operating an evacuation point. A large team of construction students joined construction teams. The guys worked on the construction of a new microdistrict for people affected by the flood.

All this and much more is the result of the work of the staff of the Higher Construction and Economic College. Our teachers are constantly improving their professional level, which indicates their readiness for new conditions of continuously improving education, which is a priority of state policy.

We express special gratitude to veterans of teaching work who have made an invaluable contribution to the development of the college and the education of the younger generation; we continue the history and traditions laid down by our respected veterans.
