WorldSkills Kazahstan -2017 national championship
On May 2-5, 2017, the WorldSkills Kazahstan-2017 national championship will be held in Astana
passed. WorldSkills International (WSI) is an international non-profit association whose goal is to increase the status and standards of professional training and qualifications, and to increase the number of working professions by holding international competitions around the world. Today, 75 countries are members of the WSI, covering 70% of the world's population.
WSK-2017 national championship was held in 17 competencies. The participants of the competition had to perform two modules showing the level of practical knowledge, professional knowledge and skills (photo 1). The honor of our region was defended by Shishkin Roman, a graduate of the construction department of the Petropavlovsk Construction and Economic College with the competence "Brick making" (photo 2). Industrial training master A.E. Kotyrtauov sent R. Shishkin as a mentor to the championship with good preparation (photos 3, 4).
According to the results of the professional competition, Shishkin Roman, a student of the Petropavlovsk Construction and Economic College, became the winner of the WorldSkills Kazahstan-2017 national championship in the competence "Brick laying" (photo 5). This victory allowed Shishkin Roman to join the national team of Kazakhstan and participate in the international championship "WorldSkills Competition 2017" to be held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates from October 14-19, 2017.
