On December 19, 2024, English language teachers D.B. Myrzabaeva and A.I. Garder held an intellectual marathon on the topic "English-speaking countries" as part of the Linguistics Week. The event was held in a marathon format, consisting of a quiz period and a written work with vocabulary on national studies.

In the quiz, participants were asked questions from various fields of knowledge about English-speaking countries: Great Britain, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. During the game, both teams answered questions of their own choosing. After the end of the marathon, the results were summarized and the winning team was determined.
