On February 24, the grand opening of the Regional Professional Skills Championship “World Skills Kazakhstan” among students and young professionals of the North Kazakhstan region took place at the Petropavlovsk Construction and Economic College. (photo 1) “World Skills Kazakhstan” is an international movement whose goal is to popularize blue-collar professions, improve the status and standards of professional training and qualifications around the world. The opening of the championship was attended by labor veterans, representatives of the regional akim’s office, the Education Department, social partners, college students and young specialists of the North Kazakhstan region. (photo 2) At the beginning of the event, the guests were greeted by the Deputy Akim of the North Kazakhstan region E. Sultanova, A.K. Dusenova. (photo 3) In her speech, the deputy akim emphasized that the World Skills Regional Championship cannot be held without the support of social partners, without competent experts, and expressed gratitude to them for their willingness to support the World Skills Kazakhstan project. Social partners Timofeev S.P., Khamzin S.Sh. and Larichev L.V. on behalf of the regional akim E. Sultanov were presented with commemorative sublimations. (photo 4)
