Trilogy by Abay Tynybekov "Giants"
"Giants" is a historical novel about the events of the middle of the 6th-1st century BC. in ancient Persia, ancient Greece and in Egypt.
But the main events in the trilogy are the events that took place on the territory of the nomadic tribes of the Saks, who lived on the territory of modern Kazakhstan.
In the novel, Abai Tynibekov depicts the life and character of the Saks, describes their rulers, battles for independence with other tribes and states. Against the backdrop of historical events, the writer tells about the fate of warriors, pastoralists, nomads who form unions, equip their lives, lead a peaceful life, protect their settlements in the Great Steppe.
The first book "Dalaya" tells about almost twenty-five years of the life of the Saka woman Dalaya, a former pupil of Queen Tomiris, during which all sorts of twists and turns in her fate take place.
The second book "Dantal" is devoted to the biography of Dantal, the son of Dalaya, who from a young age was under the care of the Greek Forkis, who became his named elder brother.
The third book "Dassaria" is dedicated to the life of the great-grandson of Dalaya, the grandson of Dantal from the youngest son, who led his people in the difficult years of drought and famine. The son of Dassariya, King Divonna, becomes the last ruler of the free Saks of the Massagetae.
