07.12.22 at the Higher College of Construction and Economics a city online Olympiad was held in the subject “Fundamentals of Economics”. The organizers of the competition were teachers of special disciplines of the Accounting Department Suleimenova Gulmira Esmagulova and Bukyr Yulia Viktorovna. Schoolchildren of grades 9-11 from 14 schools in the city of Petropavlovsk took part in the Olympiad.
Objectives of the Olympiad:
• increasing the creative activity of schoolchildren;
• developing students' interest in improving their level of financial literacy;
• assisting young people in vocational guidance and choosing educational trajectories;
• formation and strengthening of connections between the college and other educational organizations.

Evaluation criteria:
- 27-30 points are awarded a 1st degree Diploma
- 24-26 points are awarded a Diploma of II degree
- 20-23 points are awarded a Diploma of III degree
- less than 20 points are awarded a Certificate of Participation.
