On February 12, the college hosted a meeting of students with Afghan soldiers dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan. The guests of the event were veterans of the Afghan War: Doszhanov Baurzhan Ailainaevich - Colonel, senior lecturer in the Department of Physical Training and Sports of the Military Institute of the National Guard, Mikhail Ivanovich Bukin - Master of Industrial Training of the Petropavlovsk Construction and Economic College. Students heard first-hand about the terrible events of that war. The veterans told why they received the awards “For Courage” and “For Courage.”
