From September 18 to 25, a week of languages was held at the Petropavlovsk Construction and Economic College. The program of the week was very rich and varied. It included open lessons, class hours, radio lines, linguistic and polylinguistic olympiads, participation in regional and city events dedicated to the week of languages. Within the framework of the week of languages, an essay competition "Tarikh tagylymy" was held, dedicated to the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate for groups with the state and Russian language of instruction, a conference "Ata Zanym ardaktym", dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Constitution of Kazakhstan. A quiz "Memlekettik tіl-menіn tіlim" was held for teachers and students. Within the framework of the week of languages, round tables were held: “In the imperishable words - essence, dignity and wisdom”, the main theme of which was the immortal work of Abai and a round table “Tatulyқtyn tұtқasy, birliktin besіgi”, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. Also, within the framework of the week of languages, an expressive reading contest “Ulken el-ulken otbasy” was held. The week of languages ended with a bright and festive closing of the regional XVII Festival "Birligi-berekeli, tirligi-merekeli el". Round table "Tatulyktyn tutkasy, birliktin besigi", dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, with the invitation of the Deputy Chairman of the public association "Turkish Culture" Khasanova Dilyara Gabidullovna. The leitmotif of the round table was the idea of preserving and strengthening interethnic relations in our state. |

At the expressive reading competition “Ulken el-ulken otbasy”, college students read poems in Kazakh, Russian and English, as well as poems of their own composition. The works of the great poets M. Zhumabaev, M. Makataev, the immortal works of Abai, Pushkin, Byron, as well as poems by contemporary authors were performed.

A very bright, interesting and memorable event was the closing of the regional XVII Festival "Birligi-berekeli, tirligi-merekeli el". The ICC of Linguistic Disciplines prepared an original concert program in which songs were performed in Kazakh, Russian, Ukrainian, Tatar, Japanese, college teachers showed their talents in reciting poems in different languages. The results of the week of languages were summed up, the best teachers were awarded letters of thanks from the department for the development of languages of the North Kazakhstan region.
