On September 17-18, 2016, a competition of professional skills among builders in “Brickwork” was held in Petropavlovsk. This event was held as part of the implementation of the Universal Labor Society program. Welcoming the competition participants, Akim of the North Kazakhstan region Erik Sultanov noted that much attention is paid to blue-collar professions in our country. The professional competition was held at two construction sites: a 126-apartment building on the street. Zh. Kizatov and a 72-apartment residential building in the Bereke microdistrict. The participants were 6 units of various construction organizations in the region and students of the Petropavlovsk Construction and Economic College, studying in the specialty “Construction and operation of buildings and structures.” (photo 1) The work of the student units was carried out under the guidance of experienced industrial training masters Tulebaev O.A. and Kotyrtauova A.E. (photo 2) As a result of the 2-day competition, college students at two construction sites entered the top three teams, taking third prizes. The awards were presented to the winners by the head of the region, Erik Sultanov. Each student section was awarded a cash prize in the amount of 200,000 tenge (photo 3). Another four college teams were awarded incentive prizes in the amount of 50 thousand tenge. At the conclusion of the competition, regional akim Erik Sultanov noted: “I hope that such competitions will become traditional and will help improve practical skills. All this, in turn, will enable us to build high-quality houses and other social facilities.” |
