On April 5, 2017, the regional stage of the WorldSkills Kazakhstan-2017 national championship was held in Petropavlovsk.
WorldSkills International (WSI) is an international non-profit association whose goal is to increase the status and standards of professional training and qualifications, and to increase the number of working professions by holding international competitions around the world. Today, 75 countries are members of the WSI, covering 70% of the world's population. This year, the regional championship was held in 8 competencies, including two new competitive competencies compared to the First Championship in 2016 - hairdressing and web design. The grand opening of the championship was held at the North Kazakhstan Professional and Pedagogical College. The regional stage of the WorldSkills Kazahstan-2017 national championship will be held directly on the competition grounds of city colleges. The championship was held at the Petropavlovsk Construction and Economic College in 5 competencies: "Bricklaying", "Network and system management", "Web design", "Welding technologies" and "Cookery" (photo 1-5). The largest number of participants participated in cooking - 13 people, welding technologies - 9 people, web design, network and system management, 5 people participated in bricklaying competencies. According to the results of the WSK championship, students of the Petropavlovsk Construction and Economic College won 4 out of 5 competencies: • "Bricklaying" - Roman Shishkin, graduate of 2017 (photo 6); • "Welding technologies" - Chaban Ivan 361 group students (photo 7), • "Culinary business" - Alexander Dubinin, graduate of 2017 (photo 8), • "Network and system management" - student of group 318 Galikov Roman (photo 9). According to the results of the 2nd stage of the WorldSkills Kazahstan-2017 regional championship, a combined team will be formed to defend the honor of the North Kazakhstan region in Astana. The winners of the national championship will be included in the national team of Kazakhstan and will participate in the international championship "WorldSkills Competition 2017" which will be held in Abu Dhabi (UAE) from October 14-19, 2017. |
