This year our country had the great honor of welcoming the participants of the Universiade. 1,613 athletes from 54 countries took part in the competitions of the 2017 Winter Universiade. Competitions were held in 12 sports at 8 sports facilities, and 85 sets of medals were awarded. Also, about 3,000 volunteers (including foreign ones) were involved in organizing the competition. 127 international judges and about 600 national technical specialists were involved in the Universiade.
On February 8, the last competitions within the Universiade 2017 will take place in Almaty. Spectators can expect the final of men's ice hockey and a mass start for men's skiers, and in the evening the official closing ceremony of the competition will take place. In the Petropavlovsk Construction and Economics College, on February 8, a small Universiade “I am a Champion” was held, dedicated to the closing of the Universiade 2017 in Almaty, which was conducted by a teacher of physical education Ganzyuk A.N. with the assistance of the MO "Zhas Urpak" and a teacher of self-knowledge. The sports event was attended by students of "skilled workers", the department of "jurisprudence" and the accounting department. The participants themselves came up with the names of the teams: “Spartakiades”, “Olympics”, “Universiads”. The Universiade turned out to be very bright and interesting. It started with the grand opening by A.D. Sadvakasova, Deputy Director for VR, who spoke about the importance of holding the Universiade 2017 in our country. Then the hockey relay race took place, the next stage was the bowling exercise, the guys threw soccer balls with pleasure. The students were very interested in the exercise "biathlon" and "hockey".       As a result of winter sports, there was a draw among the departments. Then the broadcast of the Summer Universiade took place - a game of volleyball. At this stage, the accounting department took the lead, and they were the winners of the event. All the guys were rewarded with valuable gifts.  |
