Every year since 2002, the Petropavlovsk Construction and Economic College hosts the traditional holiday “PSEC - the haven of knowledge and stars”, where the best students and teachers are awarded personalized prizes of the pilot-cosmonaut, Hero of the Soviet Union A.S. Viktorenko. This time, Akim of the North Kazakhstan region S.S. Eskendirov, Senator of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.A. Bashmakov and Chairman of the National Space Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan T.A. Musabaev came to the college to present personalized awards with A.S. Viktorenko.

The honored guests of the holiday were greeted with “bread and salt”; Arnau’s verses were dedicated to them.

Then, in memory of the meeting, the guests, together with students from the student group “Zhasyl El”, planted personalized trees that will symbolize Peace, Friendship, Prosperity, and the Joy of meetings!

In honor of the first visit to the Petropavlovsk Construction and Economic College, the Akim of the North Kazakhstan region presented the college staff with a certificate in the amount of 1 million tenge to improve the material and technical base of the college.

A festive program was provided for our distinguished guests, where Damesh Kurmankina performed, the dance of young cosmonauts was performed by the group “Improvt”, and for the first time the original song “Baikonur” performed by Kolokolchikov was performed especially for our guests.

This year, the 12 best college students and 5 teachers were awarded the personal prize of the pilot-cosmonaut, Hero of the Soviet Union, Honorary Citizen of the North Kazakhstan region Viktorenko A.S.
