The Petropavlovsk Construction and Economic College hosted events dedicated to the 24th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. A joint class hour was held, which took the form of a literary and musical salon. Students presented several theatrical miniatures to the attention of teachers and guests of the holiday, the main theme of which was the important historical milestones in the formation of the Independence of Kazakhstan. Also at the college there was a round table “My Independent Kazakhstan”, a radio line-up and a solemn event “Tauelsiz elim-Kazakhstan”. College director N.D. Ukhov presented certificates of honor to the best teachers and students in honor of the Independence Day celebration. A festive concert was prepared by college activists.
Of the sporting events dedicated to the big national holiday, the most striking was a friendly hockey match between the teams of the Construction Department and the Law Department, which took place at the newly opened college skating rink. Celebration event "My independent country-Kazakhstan".
