On May 22, a traditional event called "HKEK - Harbor of Education and Stars" was held at the Higher Construction and Economic College. Every year, diplomas and letters of thanks are solemnly presented at the college named after the hero of the Soviet Union, pilot-cosmonaut, compatriot Alexander Stepanovich Viktorenko. This year, 25 students, 15 teachers and 12 social partners of the college received high awards!
The holiday was established in 2002 at the initiative of Anatoly Afanasyevich Bashmakov. Alexander Stepanovich visited our college and presented the awards to the laureates of the holiday. Soviet and Russian cosmonaut, People's Hero of Kazakhstan, lieutenant general of aviation of the Republic of Kazakhstan Talgat Amangeldiuly Musabayev presented the diplomas several times.
A. Viktorenko died on August 10, 2023, but his memory lives on in the tradition of our college and in our hearts.
