2. In terms of developing modules of professional competencies and implementing experimental educational programs, within the framework of the 2014 IDP “PSEC - a college acting as a resource center,” a creative group of teachers from the construction department developed an experimental modular program in specialty 1401000 “Construction and operation of buildings and structures ", approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From September 1, 2016, this program will be introduced in experimental mode in one group in the declared specialty.
3. To implement the task of training and improving the qualifications of workers in the construction industry, course training in blue-collar professions is carried out on the basis of the Resource Center. Based on the experimental program approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, modular vocational training programs have been compiled for course training in blue-collar professions: plasterer, stove mason, tiler. Course programs have also been compiled for such qualifications as welder and plumber. In February 2016, monthly courses for plasterers were organized and conducted. Three-month retraining and advanced training courses for the qualification “Electric and gas welder” are planned for the summer of 2016.
4. In terms of holding joint events with TVET organizations, in February 2016, the second annual WorldSkills Regional Championship in three competencies was held at the Resource Center of the Peter and Paul College of Construction and Economics in three competencies: “Brickwork”, “Tiling”, “Welding Technologies”. According to the results of the last WSK competition, students of the Petropavlovsk College of Construction and Economics became winners in all competencies:
• “Brickwork”: 1st place – Shtokman E., 2nd place – Shishkin R., 3rd place – Sharipov E.;
• “Welding technologies”: 1st place – Chernov S., 3rd – Chaban I.;

Also, at the Resource Center, seminars and round tables are held on current issues in the field of vocational education and the development of the construction industry in the region. In April 2016, a round table was held with the involvement of social partners: Osnovaniye LLP, Metalloelektrokonstruktsiya LLP. The topic of the event: “Training competitive workers: problems and ways to solve them.” In May 2016, the Resource Center held a seminar “System for using equipment purchased through the IDP during industrial training lessons and in extracurricular activities.” The seminar was attended by teachers of special disciplines, industrial training masters, and the administration of the RC and college. In the near future, it is planned to hold a seminar with international participation “Resource Center of the Petropavlovsk Construction and Economic College: organization, priority areas of work and development prospects.”
5. The Resource Center systematically carries out work on vocational guidance for schoolchildren: “Open Days”, inviting students from the region, speaking in city schools at parent meetings and conversations with students.
6. Since the creation of the Resource Center, we have been purposefully working to strengthen the material and technical base of the Resource Center. Participation in the PIR project allowed us to open:
• three workshops for the production of joinery products;
• two laboratories on interactive technologies and WEB programming, course and diploma design;
• five training and production workshops and workshops: a tile and cladding workshop, a concrete workshop, a training and production workshop for plastering work, a workshop for working on CNC machines, a workshop for the production of paving slabs and foam blocks.
Since the opening of the Resource Center, the stone workshop has been modernized, and the carpentry-mechanical and reinforcement-welding workshops have been equipped with the latest equipment. In the near future, we plan to put into operation two more workshops: plumbing and forging.
7. The marketing service formed in the resource center carries out marketing research of the territorial labor market and educational services, which in the future will expand the range of activities of the RC.
8. The basis of the Resource Center for the complete solution of the tasks assigned to it is the creation of a modern material base, where theoretical and practical training takes place, followed by the production and sale of goods, which is a clear advantage in the development of the dual system and the development of market thinking. Thus, as a result of the work of student entrepreneurship teams, the production of chairs, doors, and paving slabs has been established in the workshops and successfully sold. Currently, paving slabs have been produced and sold for Osnovanie LLP in the RC. A draft contract was drawn up and sent for approval to Lira LLP for production of FBS blocks at the Resource Center. In the future, it is planned to carry out the production and subsequent sale of barbecues, heating stoves, and beehives.
Today, the resource center is gaining momentum in development, following the chosen motto “Professional training of workers, innovation and new technologies in the construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan”
