In order to popularize the profession of "Accountant", increase interest in their future profession and responsibility for the work performed, improve independent work skills and develop professional thinking among accounting students, the Regional Competition of Professional Skills was held at the Petropavlovsk Construction and Economic College on November 11, 2021 "Accountant of the 21st century", dedicated to the International Day of the Accountant.
The event was attended by social partners: director of the branch of Forte bank JSC Kazybaev D.E.; head of the accounting firm Gem SK LLP Grigorieva O.E.; Balgushukova G.B., chief accountant of KSU “Kogamdyk kelisim” of the Internal Policy Department of the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan region; Chief Accountant "Battery World" A. B. Kadyrova; head of the accounting firm Clerk LLP Kukhareva L.A.; chief accountant of "Petropavlovsk agro" Loskutova Yu.L.; head of the audit and consulting firm Polin LLP, member of the Chamber of Accountants and Auditors of the North Kazakhstan region, tax consultant of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nikolaichuk I.B. During the meeting, a constructive dialogue took place with the discussion of problematic issues and prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation between college partners. The director of the bank, heads of accounting firms delivered a welcoming speech to the participants of the competition.
The competition consisted of two stages: theoretical and practical. The first included test tasks in disciplines, the second included solving the production situation: drawing up a balance sheet, solving problems, determining the financial result. During the implementation, the participants showed the level of formed competencies, the ability to rationally use working time. Students demonstrated practical and theoretical training in these areas.
