The Petropavlovsk Construction and Economics College is the only state educational institution in the region, which was the first to start in 1991 the training of personnel in the specialty "Jurisprudence".
Since 2002, the department has been training specialists in the state language.
Our specialty is always in demand, it gives prospects for professional growth and a wide range of applications in various areas of our economy.
The teachers of the department provide solid knowledge and the opportunity to become qualified specialists to work in law enforcement agencies and at enterprises of various forms of ownership: in the prosecutor's office, court, tax authorities, customs, police, registry office, social protection authorities, lawyers for resolving economic disputes, employees of personnel services , referents of managers at all levels. Feedback on the passage of industrial practice received by the graduates of the department testifies to the qualified training within the walls of the college.
Our graduates studying in the state language are especially in demand in the labor market. Almost all of them are employed, with the exception of those who continue their studies in higher educational institutions.
Students of the department have practical training in the law enforcement agencies of the city and the region with which trilateral agreements have been concluded, and since 2009 the department has been successfully cooperating with the regional military prosecutor's office and the transport prosecutor's office. This cooperation provides an opportunity for additional practice for 3rd year students in office work and opens up a number of new prospects for them.
Graduates of our college provide 80% of the efficiency of the court administrator, civil and criminal courts, police, notary offices. It is in these organizations that middle-level lawyers are needed (secretaries of the court session, notary assistants, clerks, bailiffs), where hundreds of our graduates work in different parts of Kazakhstan and Russia.
