On February 23, 2016, Murat Abenov, Chairman of the Republican Coordination Council of the “Mangilik El Zhastary – Industry” program, visited the Petropavlovsk Construction and Economic College on a working visit as part of the state program “Serpin-2050”. The project is aimed at training young people from regions with an abundance of labor resources and finding employment in regions with a shortage of specialists. Since September 2015, 24 students from the southern regions of Kazakhstan have been studying at the college’s construction department under the Serpin-2050 program.
Murat Abenov began his visit by visiting the main building of the college. He got acquainted with the classrooms and visited the astronaut alley. (photo 1) Murat Abenov continued his acquaintance with the college in laboratories and production workshops. The director of the Petropavlovsk Construction and Economic College N.D. Ukhov presented him with the modern equipment of production workshops. (photo 2) Next, M. Abenov met with students studying under the state program “Serpin-2050”. The meeting took place at the Center for Peace and Reconciliation, opened on the basis of the college. (photo 3,4,) The meeting was very lively. The assembled “Serpin students” had the opportunity “first-hand” from the chief coordinator of the Serpin-2050 program to receive answers to the most pressing questions for students. (photo 5,6). M. Abenov had the opportunity to personally verify that all students who came to study at PSEC from the southern regions of Kazakhstan were provided with a hostel and received scholarships. In addition, food has been provided for them, and their transportation problems have been resolved. Since students came to the northern regions, they first allocate money for warm clothes. At the end of the meeting, the students thanked Murat Abenov for an interesting meeting and presented several musical numbers. In turn, the chief coordinator of the Serpin-2050 program, M. Abenov, assured the children that the meeting was not the last and that another visit to the northern region of Kazakhstan would soon take place. |
